December 27, 2021 - Nose: soft mushrooms. Taste: after some time in the glass fresh sweet red fruit with a rather prominent acidity. The tannins seemed not fully resolved. Especially at the frist day it made a young impression, at the third day a bit more developped. Quite classy, like a premier cru should taste. Might be better after some more years. 92+.

December 29, 2020 - Decanted for 30 minutes. Aromas of cranberry, green tea, bit of funk, mushroom and root vegetables. Flavors of cherry, cranberry, dried strawberry, bit of green tea and earth. Bigger than I expected and a dash of heat on the palate that isn't too distracting. Ends with a nice finish of 25-30 seconds with some tea and cherry notes. Quite good and somewhat of a surprise.

September 16, 2017 - During a merchant tasting. Nose of dark and red fruit with smoke, earth but also some sweet spices. Pleasant palate, tannins already dissolved. Good length. Very good QPR here.

May 1, 2015 - Reminiscent of quite a number of '12 Burgs that I've had - bright floral nose of red-to-dark red fruits, a bit liquer'ish, but with lots & lots of spice! which perhaps, seemed a tad unGevrey-like... Plenty of structure on the palate, with notes of cherries, earth, more spice; Finished long and with dusty/airy tannins. Very nice!

March 25, 2015 - Burgundy Tasting (Ivy, George Street, Sydney): muted but rich cherry, spice, cream, touches of liquorice…bit tart on the palate with cherry, spice and firm tannins. Hmm.
