Excelente botella.

November 25, 2015 - Depth of tingly red and dark fruit on the nose with dark earthiness underneath. Spice, sweet and savory, on the palate is perhaps not quite as well defined as in the best bottles but this was very good. High energy, young sweet fruit, but the poise and maturity of a 40 year old wine. 45 minute decant, consumed over two hours but the wine was still on an upswing.

May 22, 2015 - Bottle variability continues. Somewhat flat nose although undistinguished dark fruit is given some backbone from dark savory spices. A bit too high back palate acidity. Faded after approximately 45 minutes. Drink now.

March 23, 2015 - Good fill, good cork, same cellar. But a very different result.

February 21, 2015 - A lesser bottle than others I have had. Subdued dark fruit, dry leaves, and light earth. Palate was thinner than on other bottles with a shorter finish and unbalanced acidity at the end. Fared better when paired with chicken marsala.
