April 5, 2020 - Reorganizing and finding wine during this shelter in place. Found this and didn't expect much. Still plenty of life!

December 4, 2019 - I recently found this overlooked bottle in my cellar and surprisingly found it to be quite good yet.

August 2, 2019 - Decanted for a short time. Drank with a tritip from redrocknorth. Still had plenty of tannins, very nice wine. dark cherries, dark fruits earthy tobacco, leather. Don't wait too much longer but be prepared to enjoy a great bottle of wine.

February 9, 2019 - Drank this wine one glass over an hour. No decanting. Tannins were stil there delicate and soft but still had life. some brick at the edges but color was still deep. First dark dried fruits as the hour went on red fruits became more prominent. loved it.

May 21, 2016 - This was from a Magnum stored in a cellar. Cork was is great condition, decanted for 2 hours, some rim variation, tart/sour cherry, cranberry, subtle dark fruits, med body, med finish. I enjoyed this very much and was surprised it still has plenty of life. I'd say it could still be enjoyable for another 5 years if stored properly. Also, had the 2001 Magnum which was even more impressive!

August 9, 2015 - Stored in the my cellar from release. Decanted for about 30 minutes, drank over an hour.

Medium/faded ruby color, some bricking at the edges. Dried Red fruit, earth on the nose. Palate of dusted red cherry, plums, leather. Fruit is tart on the front palate, hints of currants and red licorice. Well integrated, medium mouthfeel but still has substance.

Very well aged and enjoyable. Older Jordan (in my experieince) has held up well. Wine is moving to a tertiary phase, would drink over next 3 years.
