May 7, 2018 - I enjoyed this at the winery and felt like it had nice earthy and tar notes. Might have been a little palette fatigue going on, because when I had the bottle it was somewhat different than I remember. Still good, but far more fruit forward. Nice purple fruit and good balance. Fairly plush without a ton of acid. I tend to go for wines in a different style, but I can tell this is well made.

October 4, 2016 - Tasting near its prime, great balanced blackberry fruit some tangy but smooth tannins. I believe this one has at least 2 more years. Quite frankly, I should have bought more of this. It compares well with many of the valley's better $80 cabs
