June 5, 2015 - My first wine from Kühn. In the nose typically Rheingau from Oestrich / Hallgarten.
On the palate fresh with crystal-clear acidity in balance with yellow fruits. Overall dry but with a nice sappiness which absorbs the dry effect very interestingly!
    Pretty well stuff!

December 4, 2013 - Such a great wine! Has the masculine structure of Rheingau Rieslings but is more fruity and rich than most others. Great balance. A real pleasure to drink.

Take care to drink it not too cold, because then it shows a very different face.

    May 1, 2013 - Delicious.
Don't even know why I liked this so much, certainly different style from the Mosel/Saar Rieslings that I love so much.
This is more masculine, but still very frinkable and fruity, with wonderful balance.
Hint: worth to wait a few hours after opening the bottle, also try it a bit warmer than usual for whites.
    12 Euros well spent.

June 3, 2012 - Peter Jakob Kühn, Rheingau (Macis restaurant, Leipzig): Some residual SO2 blurs the almost Mosel-like slate on the nose; not much else in the way of scent here. Entry (reassuringly) much more like Rheingau Riesling trocken. High acidity on midpalate, knife-edge minerality, very insubstantial fruit; pleasant persistent finish. Not bad at all. 12,90€ /75cl. 84(-85)P
