June 3, 2016 - Consistent with my previous notes. Takes about an hour to fizzle out and calm down, but when it does, It becomes a very distinctive wine with cloves, blackcurrant, and loads of dark fruit with sweet red candied fruit on the finish. Drink over the next few years.

July 12, 2015 - From memory. Deep berry fruit and furry tannins, slightly leesy aroma, good with marinated flank steak.

June 26, 2015 - Consistent with my previous note from November, only more rounded, less hard-edged, and more dark fruit on the palate. Went excellent on the P&P with balsamic grilled pork chops.

April 4, 2015 - Lol at people that taste this and don't appreciate the lottery. This tasted like an Old Fashioned dosed with Malort. If you don't like that, you chose poorly. A fucked up wine for fucked up party people. Drank on line at Franklin BBQ and loved it.

December 19, 2014 - No flaws (brett and VA well within normal parameters for an FC); just the usal encounter with a wild and wooly Cornelissen. This one had some tannic beastliness, with texture that went beyond the pucker. Slight tongue-prickle. Herbaceous. Sour red fruit that doesn't quite get to the pickle-juice flavor (which I like, mind you) of his lower-tier stuff. The non-geeks at the table actually dug it; I liked it, but wasn't electrified.
