August 30, 2012 - Wish I had not waited so long to drink this. It has faded considerably, with loss of substantial fruit. Thin with little residual tannin. Still pleasant, but not what it once was. Oh well....Good time to go through My Cellar to make sure I don't mess up again.
April 26, 2012 - Slight barrique/ cork tast- but decent. Fruit is shot-only plum, light acidity, and animal taste. There are still a lot of these in the community- drink now or you will have to dump.
Some of the first reviews make this wine sound unbelievable- wish i would have drank it then.
August 24, 2011 - My wife brought this up from the cellar. Red with amber bricking. Closed nose at opening, very little fruit and a bit of dusty earth after an hour. Soft approach but a dry finish.
April 12, 2011 - Deep red color. Red and black plums, smoke and distinct gravelly nose. A good dose of blue-red fruits, earth and gravel on the palate. The nose and the palate got better on day 2. There are bitter and astringent tannins with the fruit fading away on the finish.
February 21, 2011 - Dark cherry and high fruit notes. Very drinkable, but not much cellar time left. Enjoyable!
January 14, 2011 - Really falling off from last tasting. Waited too long. Little fruit left. Pleasant but it used to be delicious. Oops.
December 19, 2010 - I've had a lot of trouble with corked wines, but this one seemed clean. No notes taken, but this seemed to be on the downhill slide, showing less fruit and more minerality. This was purchased on release and stored in a cold cellar, so these probably need to be consumed over the next year or two.
April 9, 2010 - Fading from earlier tastings
June 21, 2009 - Good inexpensive Bordeaux. Drinking nicely now. Dark fruit and earthy nose. Some soft tannins on the finish, but still some years left. Enjoyable with a grilled steak
April 18, 2009 - Wonderful taste, however lighter on th enose than would've expected
