April 23, 2017 - A prime example of a white Burgundy which can stand time with honors. Clear, crisp and at the same time with complexity you only get with age.
Very good balance and minerality. Even though there are some fruity notes the dryness through the stony notes are dominant.

March 11, 2017 - Served next to a 93 Ramonet Montrachet and I felt that this showed better. Fresh and pure, vigorous and energetic aromatically and follows through to the palate. Shows the richness and tropical aspect of Corton fruit, and entirely balanced and focused slightly smoky complex minerality. This is an entirely typical wine of this place, and it shows Grand Cru class and complexity. Excellent.

February 9, 2017 - Ren og pen, men lider litt av å komme etter Leflaive. 91-92p

February 7, 2017 - I've had three bottles from same lot. One was what I look for in mature white Burg, lovely and complex -if maybe a bit ripe (B+). Another at a steakhouse was oxidized and advanced. This didn't show oxidation but didn't feel as lively as the first bottle- white fruit, a little nutty, a bit stolid on palate. B-

Burgundy-Report

(Bonneau du Martray Corton-Charlemagne) Relatively pale colour. The nose is open and high toned, quite pure. The palate shows a lovely blend of fat and acidity surrounding a super core of concentrated young fruit. Very long too. This will be a wonderful wine, but should still wait.
