January 28, 2023 - Old prune juice. Past its best by date many years ago. Not many of the typical CdP flavors left. Should have been enjoyed 10 years ago.

September 16, 2020 - Served blind but somewhat obviously an aging CdP
Garnet mulberry with a chestnut rim
Definitely needs a decant as glass 2 was slightly murky.
Aged leathery flavors, no tannins,
Sweet grenache and alcohol flavors.
Nice to appreciate for what it is; definitely more aged flavors (looks and tastes older than 2004)
I understand the 2006 -2014 drinking window for the fresh flavors, but nice to appreciate the aged characteristics that these 15 year old CdPs get. -
