December 31, 2023 - Drank in a pairing with Duck. Th duck was served together with arthichoke purre with some truffles. Glazed pears. Gently fried kale. And a sauce from the fat, boiled in honey, cinnamon and anise stars. Exceptional! Great last supper in 2023!

January 1, 2022 - Tannins were very drying- too austere. Underlying black fruit was pleasant, but not enough to make it good.

July 18, 2019 - This is a lovely bottle of solid red Premier Cru Burgundy. Considering the price, this is a phenomenal steal. Everything you want is there: Fruit; oak (in balance); impact; finish. In today’s crazy market for fine Burgundies, this is very much a rare gem to be discovered. Will age gracefully given the wonderful balance of ripe fruit and savoury acidity.

January 23, 2019 - Chez moi. Popped and poured. Scents of earth, spice, creosote and black cherry on the nose. Fairly rustic, ripe round palate, with a saline and earth quality that adds complexity. Ultimately too ripe for me. In 2012, I prefer the NSG VV village wine to his premier crus, as the texture and red fruited nature of the wine work better for mine.

August 30, 2016 - Very primary even against the 2010 with cherry candy, ripe red berry notes, bright, zippy, young but still good stuffing. Very nice, but needs time.
