April 5, 2024 - A mix of red and black fruit, today more on the red side: mostly red currant, cherries, soil and saline notes, with some aeration perfectly accessible.

February 11, 2024 - Atsushi supps (McLeay Street Bistro, Potts Point): Elegant, yes, but still with that rather muted quality from its last tasting. Still in the black and red cherry spectrum, earthy savoury underpin, soft tannic burr. I was hoping for a little more.

January 19, 2024 - Mostly black and some red fruit, mainly cherries, spices (in a Zalto glass it is amazing, the nose full of Vosne spices), some soil, a good amount of salinity. Entering its drinking window.

    November 9, 2023 - Tasted over 2 hrs
    -brilliant med dark red violet
-expressive spicy red cherry wet stone
-med/med+ acidity, med/med- weight focused sappy red cherry mildly bitter earthy streak, finishes complex with faint burnt caramel oak remnant and medicinal note enveloping the fine med tannins
-gorgeous complex nose and complex palate, early on mature plateau

October 7, 2023 - Dark cherries, spices, white pepper, mouth coating. Another confirmation that the 2012 Côte de Nuits seem to get ready for business.

August 31, 2023 - Quite a dark colour; intense, dark fruited, with some savoury, almost feral, notes. Just about ready, although perhaps a little tight still. Will be better in 2 to 3 years and will keep for 10. Potentially fine.

March 8, 2023 - Coravin fun - Burgundy (My place, Kent Street): From Coravin. Medium minus intensity aromas of black cherry, slight struck match flint, sweet spice, touch of earthiness, pepper. Juicy, medium plus intensity acidity, quite tight and closed on the palate, touch of yeast extract over rather muted red and black cherry, finishes with some struck match notes. Hmm

December 1, 2022 - A terrific Brulees with sexy, full throttle nose of black cherry, florals, black tea and Vosne spice. Excellent richness and concentration to the suave and open-knit fruit. Early in it's drinking window and should gain more nuance from here.

July 1, 2021 - From Coravin. Medium minus intensity aromas of savoury black cherry, berry with some sweet spice, a little polished oak, touch of coffee, a little earth and clay. with time in the glass the fruit grows. Juicy with biscuit, grainy tannins tug at the tongue but support rather than dominate the fruit, all travels long. very nice.

March 13, 2021 - Good red, plenty of aromas of Vosne spices, leather, a hint of licorice and dark fruits, the mouth is filled with dense black fruit that culminates in a mineral razor sharp cut that provides excellent lift. Good length and domesticated tanins already but will benefit from another 3 to 5 years in the cellar. Although there is good depth, what is missing is the texture to make it really outstanding. This is very Vosne in style, and very true to its south slope and uphill flint terroir, which lends the wine both black fruit power and striking minerality. Very good balance here, and very fine uphill 1er cru.
