December 31, 2014 - Consumed with Joe on New Year's Eve. Unique bottle, very dark and dense with a very long neck and mock foil. Dark eggplant color with up front nose of dark fruit, spice and herbs. Heavy bodied, new world fruit forward style with old world finish. Tannins have dissipated but the flavor carries the day.

October 26, 2013 - Nice chocolate and spicy nose; slight nutmeg spice, fading cola & cocoa,muted fruit, few layers, and the finish is lacking except for the 14.8 ABV.

June 11, 2013 - Juicy & delicious as only Oakville Cabernet can be. This is mellow & soft. What a shame that Swanson has sold this vineyard. This is a true sleeper of what Oakville fruit is capable of.
