September 9, 2019 - 15 years old, still dominated by oak. Vanilla, butter, and sweet canned pear. Just not my style. But it’s not tired. GAve away remaining bottle. C+

October 31, 2016 - Wow, oak hasn’t integrated at all, this is just oak/vanilla on top of overripe peach/apple fruit with a lactic note on finish. C

May 26, 2015 - Oak and butter, competently done just not the kind of wine I like, my other bottles will be gifts to those who like this style. . C/C+

May 28, 2012 - Salted butter popcorn. Pretty big and rich. More of a fall/winter chard.

May 11, 2009 - Big bold pineapple and grapefruit flavors with plenty of vanilla on the mid-palate. Very much a cocktail wine and certainly holds up the "California profile" for a Chard. However, all that vanilla and butteriness is a bit too much for my personal taste. I would have been happier with something a little bit leaner. Great for having guests over, but not much of a food companion.

9/13/09 Similar notes as before, but wasn't quite as overwhelmed by the buttery angle. Matched up to food a little nicer with the pan roasted halibut.
