October 29, 2016 - A nice easy drinking chardonnay with peaches, pears, plucots and mild oak on the palate. We drank 2 bottles at my Halloween dinner paired with the seared scallops in a tarragon sauce.
September 18, 2016 - A blend. Not pure chard, but the notes are more complex this way and it is balanced.
September 18, 2016 - Very complex and balanced. Would drink now to perhaps 2018.
September 4, 2016 - Nose: Apple, sweet pear and floral notes. Big of malo noted with a buttery note. Palate: At first this is great but it grows a bit too unctuous and monolithic for me. Restrained at first but then sappy pineapple oak and lemon curd creep in. Finish: floral with oak/butter notes.
August 20, 2016 - Rich, buttery but not over-the-top.
June 19, 2016 - Summer wine paired with grilled swordfish. Flowers, vanilla, peach and pear on the nose. Good acidity on the palate. Tropical fruits. Pleasant finish.
April 3, 2016 - Nice Chard, buttery, mild oak, w/excellent nose.
November 1, 2015 - Straw yellow with medium viscosity in the glass. Nose of butter, lemon oil, pineapple, tangerine, flowers, apple and melon rind. Med-full body with delightfully balanced butter, vanilla, citrus, toffee, melon and slate on the palate. Persistent with present acidity. Long finish. Exceptional quality delivers good QPR.
September 8, 2015 - Excellent chardonnay; light touch of oak. Great acidic balance with tropical fruit notes. Crisp, with a hint of stones. More burgundian in style than California.
September 1, 2015 - Shafer Dinner - 4 bottles for 6 people. Nice Chard, despite the oak, it was well balanced.
