January 14, 2022 - Popped and poured. Medium ruby color, slightly cloudy. Nose of smoked meat, dried cherry and plum, slight hint of raisin, and some herbal cough drop notes. Similar flavors on the palate with a nice mix of dried red fruits and savory, meaty notes. Fruit is slightly baked/raisined but wine is in balance with good acidity and not too dried out or hot. I am enjoying this more than I did a few years ago so the extra bottle age helped.

July 19, 2020 - Balanced. Spicy but not overpowering. Vanilla upfront. Went nicely with fennel compeseto burgers.

January 12, 2018 - Corked. But mildly so. I let Laura drink it as she has a high tolerance.

August 28, 2017 - Very much enjoyed this bottle. Great Bandol character. Nice restraint and balance. I love this producer. Fantastic with bison burgers. Time will improve this wine.

December 18, 2016 - Enjoyable with prime rib. P&P but it was ready to drink. Somewhat one dimensional but worth the price.

November 3, 2016 - Cheap Bandol that tastes as it should. Bill notes. Salty vegetables and onions. Farmed organically. Very solid at $20.
