December 26, 2020 - Maturing early with a brick-garnet tinged rim. I find the green meanies to be present but tolerable, at least to my palate. Nose shows some cedary oak and methoxypyrazines (ladybug taint), with dry tannins and saddle leather on the palate, along with green pepper and cranberry. This is rustic Burgundy, and fans of Loire reds may find this more appealing than me.

January 20, 2020 - Huge amount of sediment, for starters. Wine is light garnet with some browning at the rim. Not much fruit on the nose, mainly floral. Some light greenness, but not particularly offensive. The palate is also thin with not much fruit to show. It's not bad, exactly, just not interesting. Was curious to check in on this and am pleased to see it's not completely destroyed by the vintage demons.

October 11, 2017 - Not corked but very little fruit. No green meanies either - just not much there.

    December 1, 2015 - OK, thin

December 1, 2015 - Some at the table are predisposed to this being excessively green. Apart from some lima bean notes, this is not that far on the green side of the spectrum. That said, it's still not particularly good. I don't find it as objectionable as the others, but it definitely is not pretty at all. Interestingly, the palate sweetened up over the next two nights, and did not oxidize nor degrade at all, although the color was brownish. Dinner at Brad's.
