May 2, 2019 - Ellie liked it too
January 13, 2016 - Great value. Clean, fruity, minimal oak, no butter.
November 15, 2015 - Drank next to 2007 Rochioli River Block Chard. Similar characteristics, but you could tell this one was the younger. Lighter and thinner with lemon, honesuckle, pear, and vanilla.
September 13, 2015 - Ditto to the last tasting note!
August 30, 2015 - Notes of green apple and lemon on the nose. Stone fruit, citrus, on the palate. Well balanced, with a soft pleasant finish. Paired well with grilled swordfish.
May 31, 2015 - Citrus, oak, vanilla, medium body and finish.
October 9, 2014 - Six nations tasting (Pyrmont): Very toasty initially with stone fruit butter and spiceā¦more of the same on the palate. Okay
April 19, 2014 - Definitely not Chablis-like - the 10 months in French oak have left their mark. Nose is toasty oak, warm hay in the sun, melon and baked apple. Excellent acidity, just a little hot on the back end, but good length. Oaky but not overdone. Excellent, but not quite as good as the normal Chardonnay of theirs. $28. 14.5%
March 16, 2014 - Light in color. Chablis like nose. This had a marked steel and stone taste that amplified during the finish that I did not personally like. I do normally like most Chablis, but this is over the top metal.
December 26, 2013 - Nose of lemon, tart green apple, subtle white flowers, toasty oak. Acid is medium-high, alcohol is medium to high but integration is good, body is medium to full, finish is long. Superior Chardonnay at a good price. $8.50 for a glass at Rosso in Santa Rosa.
