Community Tasting Notes 2

January 20, 2007 - Madeira @ Triomphe (NYC): Gorgeous example of an aged Rheingau. Honey, pineable, apricots and a underpinning of earthy minerals. Very fresh and young with nicely resolved sweetness. Ethereal finish.

August 5, 2003 - Dinner in NYC w/ Howard, etc (NYC): Medium dark yellow in color. Minerally, slatey, petroly. Less sweet than a young Auslese, but consistent with age. Full on the palate, yet light and airy at the same time.
