November 29, 2019 - From magnum; popped and poured. This may be tied for wine of the night...just an amazingly rich and flavorful Syrah. Blackberry, baking spice, bacon fat and vanilla all work together beautifully. Aged perfectly in magnum format, this is drinking at peak. Enjoy it now - 2022.
March 20, 2017 - Really nice red berry fruit, spices, espresso and dark chocolate. Yum! Drink now - 2020+
September 5, 2016 - REALLY impressed with this Syrah! Drinking well for being as young as it is, and just really enjoyable. Everyone at our dinner party said the same thing: "this is really tasty". Blackberry, cracked pepper, plum and some bramble. Full bodied and going down really smooth. A hit! Drink now - 2018.

April 28, 2015 - 3.5 Rich aromas of plum, caramel, and chocolate followed by a full, round texture, gravelly tannins, and balancing acidity. Excellent.
September 19, 2014 - Herbal nose with syrah. New world but nice acidity.
April 29, 2014 - 3% viognier co ferment. Half whole cluster if I got that right. Long slow cool feremented. Never above 80 so not super fruity but also not blowing off esters etc. Pick pretty early, so juicy. One new barrel out of six. So a touch of new oak on it. Frankly really good syrah. Question is, whos buying?
Oasis vineyard. Super, dusty loamy soil type which comes through in the wine as a blue berry preserve signature in the wines.
April 29, 2014 - Touches of VA, or at least cranberry, more cranberry than VA I would guess. Massive and powerful, with much on the back of the palate.
