October 1, 2023 - Deep, dark red colour. Fairly tight nose - a touch of cassis and blackcurrant along with a light bit of vanilla. Rounded mouthfeel. Lovely flavour - dark fruits and a creamy mouthfeel with a bit of brightness. Medium length. Drinking very nicely.

July 21, 2023 - This has become more enjoyable and is showing a nice mix of fruit, liveliness, and secondary character. Still not hugely long, but it’s been good company tonight.

March 3, 2021 - This is how to make the most of a bad vintage. Elegantly made, extra smooth tannin, a very long finish and an intense blackcurranty nose. Lack of concentration of fruit on the palate though

August 15, 2020 - Already easy drinking Margaux. Enjoyable but nothing special.

May 7, 2020 - disappointing even in the context of the vintage - a bit of a nothing - hopefully there will be some improvement over the next few years

April 12, 2020 - Initially closed. Decanting helped. Elegant but not a huge amount of length.

January 6, 2019 - 2013 not the best year for Bordeaux. Smell of plum, oak and tobacco. Nice fruity taste, but not the best structure, on the thin side. Poor tannins and medium minus aftertaste.

April 2, 2016 - Aromatic to an extreme, perfumey and odd, with some sweetness on the palate. A mess.
