March 7, 2016 - What a find ... on discount at the PA State Store. Fabulous, big, deep and jammy, but still well balanced.
October 4, 2014 - Very deep, dark; rich and unctuous; chocolate notes; a brooding, thoughtful wine; what zin can be.
September 21, 2014 - Deep color, lush blackberry and chocolate. Very nice.
August 8, 2014 - Light-medium, blackberry, earth, chocolate. Good on a Friday evening outdoor grill.
June 20, 2014 - A bright Zin, dark and concentrated while restrained and buoyant at the same time. Some jam, black fruit, good acidity. Quite good with sharp cheddar. A good buy in PA at $20.
June 19, 2014 - A touch of heat and light sediment. Blackberry, earth nose. Medium mouthfeel, smooth tannins, chocolate finish. A steal at $25.
May 29, 2014 - Nose on the lighter side, black tea. Palate of blackberry, cola, chocolate. Full mouthfeel. Finish slightly short, dusty tannins. Deep almost black in color, this was a nice mid-week wine and cheese red.
May 27, 2014 - Lots of heat and anise.
