December 24, 2015 - Unfortunately, the wine is well past its prime. Showing little to no fruit.

June 7, 2012 - brick in color. cherry, rose, spice, forest floor on the nose. earth, cherry, cranberry on the palate. this bottle was done.

June 27, 2011 - The brickish color says it's over the hill, but the cherry/rose bouquet and nice balance of fruit, acid, and soft tannins says, "I'm still quite drinkable".
Probably should enjoy any remaining bottles this year, but enjoy you will. Bright cherry fruit offset by bright acidity and moderate tannins suggests pairing with pasta, but it worked well with hamburgers tonight.

Rating reflects bottle age; if consumed earlier in its life, the rating would undoubtedly be higher.

November 26, 2010 - Excellent and drinking as well as the last bottle from 11/2/10.

November 2, 2010 - Drinking surprisingly well. Spectacular aromatics of cranberry, cherry, damp forest floor, and spice. Certainly has developed flavors on the palate; although there is plenty of recognizable fruit, there is definitely some spice and leather and earth. Minimal tannin but integrated soft acidity. I wouldn't expect this to get any better but it probably will drink well for at least another year or two. I'm glad to have another bottle.

(Dehlinger Pinot Noir Estate) Group's #2 (my #1) – 53 pts.; 4, 1, 3, 1 – slightly bricking medium dark cherry red color with pale meniscus; intriguing tart strawberry, dried red fruit and roses nose; tart red fruit, rosehips, a little stemminess, with lime acidity; medium finish 92+ pts.
