August 1, 2015 - Tasted blind, this wine had a deep red/purple center with light red rims. The medium intensity nose offered up black cherries, soil, and red fruits.

In the mouth, this wine was medium bodied with ripe fruit, notable rounded tannins and good length.

This wine seems to have recently entered into the drinking zone. It suffered in comparison with some heavy-weight wines. However, it is attractive and will continue to develop.

March 22, 2015 - Saturated cork and signs of minor seepage. What can you say other than utter elegance, complexity and balance! Lingering savoury aftertaste that leaves you craving another sip, and suddenly the bottle has come to an end. A wine to just lean back and savour every sip of.

January 15, 2014 - Cornas tasting @ Jeroboam Club (Bristol): Grilled bread, complex, mature notes of leather, spice, this is at another level of maturity and all the better for it. Full, mouthfilling, classy and very burgundian with a long finish. On returning to this wine over the hour it evolves, changes and is super interesting. Wow.
