  April 7, 2024 - Fully mature and ready to go. Medium bodied, linear, and harmonious. Smoky leaves on the nose, red and black fruit on the palate. Nice finish with some tannins still to fully resolve. Not complex or long enough to be stellar but still very pleasant.

  December 20, 2013 - Mostly dark fruits, dark cherries, black currents, sap, mushroom and earth. Medium weight, cool and fresh fruit expression and nicely integrated tannins. Showing good terroir typicity. The fruit is not terribly sweet. Still very primary and will need time.

  November 14, 2011 - Ethereal aromatics for Clos Vougeot. More of a feminine bottle - still plenty of backbone but more pretty than dense and tough. Almost silky, in a good place.

  Tasted non blind at a wine dinner.
  
  Garnet color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Soft nose of spices, berries, plums and wet stones. Flavors of black berries, raspberries and a bit of tangy cherry. Bright acidity, medium to firm tannins, medium to full bodied. Drink or hold.
