Community Tasting Notes 3

November 22, 2007 - Great value. Purchased a case for 9.99/bottle. Deep candied cherries, hint of chocolate, firm tannins. Enjoyed with a nice steak.

October 24, 2006 - Really candied cherries in the nose and mouth. Hard to get by this. But there was a a bit of tannic structure. a bit of oak. All together probably my least favorite bottle of Carmen. Maybe it is just going through a transition period. I will hold off drinking my last for about a year.

October 6, 2006 - Decent Cab - a little earthy and plenty of tanins right now. not terribly deep though - probably no more than 2 more years in the cellar. Good pairing with ribeyes and steak fries.
