June 16, 2013 - Floral, dough, bitter and unbalanced. I have tried to like this style but can't. Not going to be purchasing and Demi-Sec any time soon.

December 25, 2012 - Wine was fine, a Demi sec was just what we wanted before Christmas dinner, it seemed just a little flat though. The wine had been properly stored but there was not the normal schramsburg bubbles. Guess that happens sometimes.

December 6, 2010 - Dark golden color. Nose of apples, figs and bread. On the palate sweet with dough, carmel, apples and burnt toast. Medium finish with low acidity. Not as good as previous bottles.

February 26, 2010 - Medium yellow color. Dough, floral, appricots, and citrus. On the palate a touch of sweetness along with notes of honey, chalk, appricots, and baked apples. Medium finish. As one tracker member stated better day 2 and I agree.

April 20, 2009 - I enjoyed this a second time at a dinner for four at a friends house. This paired well with a simply prepared salmon. Golden yellow color. Rich and smooth. Slightly sweet. I tasted apricot and some peach. There's 6% pinot noir, which you can see when the glass is held up. We all thought it was delicious. It's nice when you can 'spread the wealth' with non wine-geek friends.

December 13, 2008 - Drank this at an offline at Lotus of Siam with eBobbers. This slightly sweet champagne, or should I say sparkling wine, had some acidity that went well with Thai food. Cremant means minimum bubbles. I was surprised to see this with so few bubbles, until cremant was explained to me. Ther was some gewerz in the wine. I overpaid for the at Whole Foods, but that's what happens when your out of town.

December 12, 2008 - Binny's Champagne Seminar (Highland Park, IL): Sight: Straw color; little bit weak on the intensity of the pearls

Nose: Flower notes accompanied by pepper smells. Yeasty notes and hints of sweetness. A mustiness component as well.

Palate: Fair was my initial reaction, slightly sweet. Thought is that this could pair well with a semi sweet chocolate.

Overall: Not a big fan. 84 points.

December 12, 2008 - nose: tart nose that is rather simple with easy tones of lemons, white florals, and some spice tones. Decent and easy, but very surface and simple

taste: nice and easy with sweet tones of tropical citrus, white florals, and lemony tones. No real depth on the palate and lower acidity that makes you want it to be there.

overall: solid and fun, but basically no depth. A very easy sparkler, it doesn't really do all that much for me, but is a decently made wine
