April 16, 2016 - Oxidized. Second older Littorai chardonnay I've had recently that's been oxidized, both bought on the secondary market but from different sources.

September 9, 2014 - DOA. I forgot about this bottle and it was off the cliff. Dark gold in colour and an aroma that was beyond sherry. It was stored at 55°F for the last 10 years.

May 5, 2011 - Popped and poured after chilling a bit below cellar temp. Golden color; lemon, orange, and perhaps butterscotch on the nose. On the palate quite ripe and thick but not at all sweet; does not have the tension and acidity of the best vintages of this wine; so far good but not great. As it warms this shows more acidity and cut, but it still doesn't have the definition I expect.

August 20, 2008 - Craig's wine. Popped and poured. The color is a deep yellow. The nose proffers assertive aromas of citrus fruits, carmel, mineral and floral notes. Good complexity. On the palate this comes across as a heavier style with some oak noticeable, but great flavor presence from the attack through the long, ringing finish -- at least partially on account of the bracing acidity present throughout. I'm no expert on California Chardonnay, but enjoyed this immensely.

March 18, 2007 - I found this wine very exciting, drinks well now but has aging potential to 2016.
