September 13, 2020 - Spectacular bottle; seems to be at its prime with a complex mix of fruit, herbs, spices and a hint of leather (?). On the palate, tannins have softened and it is very smooth but with plenty of structure to hold up to a well seasoned steak.

May 2, 2019 - Monthly tasting club LTC 2019-05: A random selection (By BW @ LWH): In the bouquet ink, ripe red berries and blackberries, as well as minty licorice, On the palate very ripe berries and cherries, eucalyptus, some sweetness and good acidity. Beautiful wine.

June 8, 2018 - Interesting blend. Juicy Syrah with some tannic grenache & mourvedre. This can easily age like a CdP, but why wait as it is drinking well today with some Riedel Syrah stemware.

October 16, 2016 - This is drinking very nicely now. A lighter style shiraz blend that is very smooth on the palate.

August 28, 2016 - A great Aussie GSM (Mataro not Mourvèdre). Very smooth tannins with sweet prune, dark cherry, and soft oak flavors. Listed as 14.5% alcohol but easily 15+% OH. 2 glasses and under the table.
