November 5, 2022 - Gold color, it’s entrancing on the nose with a little nuttiness and honey and lots of depth. The palate couldn’t equal the nose, but with air it expanded to deliver on some of its promise. Still showing plenty of acidity, it is ready to go and I don’t expect it to improve, though it isn’t dying anytime soon.

April 20, 2018 - incredibly youthful and full. Slightly reduced. Really good wine right now

February 8, 2016 - Casual Burgundy Dinner with Friends from Burgundy (RPM Steak - Chicago IL): Dark color gave reason for concern to start. Certainly mature, but I'd consider this age appropriate. Ripe orchard fruit throughout with slightly sweet spice and very good density. Much better than the last time I opened a bottle from my cellar a year+ ago. I finished the last glass ~5 hours after the bottle was opened, and this was just as good as when first poured.

May 17, 2015 - Perfect Pernot. Fresh, balanced yet rich with secondary flavors.
