March 8, 2017 - Some bottle variation but this one was nice.

December 31, 2016 - Decanted for 2 hours. Big wine. Fruit is integrating. Finish has some acidity. Not thinking that this will get better. Drink now and coming 3 years.

October 12, 2016 - Delicious concentration, perhaps a bit faded compared to the previous bottle and more pronounced salty bedrock. Still delicious.

June 7, 2016 - Last tasted about 2 and a half years ago. Still much the same as when last tasted: "Aromas of raspberry, blackberry, sweet cassis, some blueberry, roasted game meat, herbs, and vanillin. Similar flavors, with the addition of pepper and dark chocolate. Big, powerful, rich, with intense fruit. Viscous in the mouth." Tannins are now integrated into the wine and the wine is drinking at its apogee. Again, a long and spicy finish. I feel the wine has a year or two left for enjoyment.
