December 18, 2022 - 10 jaar oud en nog steeds fris fruit, mooie zuren, vriendelijke tannines en een zeer aangenaam evenwicht in de mond. Je zou kunnen argumenteren dat sulfieten hier veel mee te maken hebben. Anyway, deze wijn toont duidelijk dat ook Zinfandel kan ouderen.
September 26, 2022 - Beautiful aged zin, mellow spicy and dark fruit, excellent with roast pork
September 2, 2022 - Soft elegant finish, berries and mint, slight black pepper finish, drink in next 2-4 years
March 19, 2022 - Still excellent, even at this age.
April 19, 2020 - Really nice, nothing bad to say about it. Soft tannins, a little baking spice?, Not a fruit bomb -not overly oaked. Very balanced probably rated higher by others, I would have rated higher if the spice was a little more or if the tannins gripped a little harder. A little meatyness to this also BTW.
February 25, 2019 - Always consistently good. Developing nicely. Has a few more solid years ahead.
July 15, 2018 - Very dark ruby red color. PNP, drank a glass over 45 minutes. Black cherry, plum, pepper, spiced cherry. The palate is full bodied, spiced black cherry, oak spice, plum, peppery finish, a bit high toned on the finish. Good.

July 29, 2017 - Much better than the last time that I tasted this wine. Nice nose, fruit, and descent finish.
February 26, 2017 - Nice wine, not as good as prior vintages but still enjoyable. Needs time to open and I found it better on second day.
