July 11, 2016 - Still alive and well! Surprisingly vibrant for its age, showing tart citrus, lychee, and brighter floral and spicy flavours on the nose and palate with a round, polished texture and decent acidity beneath. Not especially complex, but very easy to drink and a really interesting wine to try blind.

July 11, 2016 - An atypical Monday (Dale's): Served blind, and clearly Gewurzt, but surprised by the base yellow label bottling since the nose was lively and young. Spicy lychee and honey blossom nose. Some light vegetal (in a good way) notes. Very nice nose. Full bodied. Palate was lacking concentration.
