Community Tasting Notes 9

August 3, 2014 - Bought the series of Kracher and have drunk all but 10 and 11 so had the 10 tonight. Not what I hoped for. Deepening color- this was Amber- this was sweet above all, needed something else to distract. A very good sticky to be sure, but nothing very special. Will try to remember to wait longer on the number 11.

August 10, 2013 - Annual Wine Group Summer Event (Siggy & Jenny's Place, Mpls, MN): didn't take any notes on this, but it was quite bright and had very nice concentration and a long finish.

April 12, 2010 - From a 375ml. Nose of apricot, huge spices, sweat, smoke.
On the palate some quince, stone fruits, minerals and a good acidity. Fairly thick with a saline component and a medium to long spicy finish. Excellent.

January 4, 2010 - good, not great. fine dessert wine but not terribly complex. good structure and light on its feet for a Kracher.
