February 19, 2018 - One point higher vote than my previous note, this is a delicious and complex wine with an excellent QPR.

January 26, 2017 - This A to Z Wineworks Oregon Chardonnay 2013 No Wood has brought me face to face with a fundamental dilemma that confronts amateur wine writers - because that's what we are here at Cellar Tracker. Professional insist that a wine must always be judged on its intrinsic merits, regardless of price or relative value (QPR). So you give your description, impressions, recommendations, and a score, and then afterwards a comment on the price. With this wine I have been sorely tested because with each sip I am overwhelmed by the notion that I am drinking a $12 wine widely available in supermarkets ... and I can't believe how good it is ! Oh how I wish I had tasted this blind ! Such a blind tasting will have to be arranged.

Day One: Fragrances and flavors of apple and citrus, minerals, with some floral notes; medium-bodied, with good structure and excellent mouth-feel; the finish is not long, but it is pleasant throughout.

Day two: Very similar, a bit softer and more open, some pear and white peach.

    Outstanding QPR, highly recommended.

October 17, 2015 - Wildly unexpected. Lime and tree fruit. Mineral. Pretty damn engaging.

March 29, 2015 - Much more exciting than the PG 2013. Better balance, and nicer acid. Still some apple notes, but not all the all-apple of the PG. Here, an orange zest note. Orange creamsicle to the palate. Very digable wine.

March 16, 2015 - 100% stainless steel chardonnay, fresh, crisp, very enjoyable and certainly worth the price.
