March 8, 2024 - Fascinating to taste this wine which is clearly in decline now and beyond where I like to drink aged white Burgundies. That's just a personal preference but the bottle was quite sound and while the acidity and verve were gone, the layered flavors of caramel and honeysuckle were lovely. The texture was oily and the finish lacked complexity at this stage but a treat to try.

July 20, 2021 - 5 of 6 purchased in 1986. Brought this as a blind to a friends 70th Bday dinner. Beautiful yellow color, initial nose allayed any fear of a flaw or just plain past prime. On the contrary, the nose was filled with white peach, apricot, honeysuckle, a touch of burnt butter, remarkable complexity and amazing freshness for a 39 year old village Meursault. As amazing a nose as this has, the palate was it’s equal, fresh peach and apricot fruit coats your palate, rich in texture, lightened and enhance, by it’s engaging acidity.
