October 19, 2013 - Opened up after slow oxing for 2 hours, then decanted for 30min before recorking. Bright red fruit, spice, mushroom and lavender on the nose. Mid palate explosion of dried herbs and rasberries. Long smooth finish. This is still a baby but delicious and opening up now!!

February 8, 2013 - Knightsbridge Annual Wildman Burgundy Dinner (Trump International Hotel - Chicago IL): Red cherry and boysenberry aromas without any green elements today. Very accessible and enjoyable today, this seems much nicer than I recall from a few years back. Moderate depth and intensity, so probably right at its peak today.

February 6, 2009 - Wildman Tasting and Dinner (Knightsbridge - Northbrook IL): Mostly red fruit on nose and palate, with fairly good spice in background. Accessible already with just a bit of oak sticking out. A little bit of the 2004 "green" notes, but not overwhelming. Not very "Gevrey" in character for me.

February 6, 2009 - Rousseau / Potel / Prieur Dinner (Knightsbridge): Pale red/orange color. Full dusty charcoal red fruit nose. Nice rich red fruit on the palate.
