December 19, 2021 - Something wasn't right with this bottle. Monolithic with a bit of a metallic note.

January 18, 2021 - I didn't take my own advice to sit on remaining bottles. Similar experience to last bottle. Nice wine but very fruit forward, would prefer some more earthy characteristics.
November 27, 2020 - Soft, mostly black fruit. Very fruit-forward - even more so than I expected given it now has several years under its belt. Very good, but for my palate I would like to sit on at least a couple of the remaining bottles a few more years to see where they go.
November 29, 2019 - Decanted 1/2 hr. Similar to previous bottles. Bright darker fruits. Smooth on the tongue.
August 24, 2019 - Decanted 1/2 hr. Medium body. Consistent, softer, smooth tastes of red & darker fruits. More softer tastes compared to fruit-forward.
November 20, 2018 - Drinks great.
December 3, 2017 - Green vegetables, earthy herbs and young leather. This wine is a cab like merlot with tannins that fade after a few hours, but still lasts long with hints of spice, peppers a bit of plum.
October 8, 2017 - Decanted 1.5 hrs. Nice dark fruit nose. Smooth, consistent tastes of red & dark fruits. Delicious bottle.
September 9, 2017 - Well made Napa merlot with dark red and black berry fruits, hints of dark chocolate and toasted oak. Medium acid and tannin, full bodied with a dusty tannin finish.
