April 8, 2024 - A little advanced, showing some butterscotch notes. Dry and chalky, complex and spicy. Fruits have a waxy feel. Very deep and chewy. Good length. Rob mentioned that a recent bottle was much fresher, so let down by its cork a bit.

June 17, 2023 - 100 months on lees, tons of cheese and bakery notes, golden liquid with luxurious palate, really high acidity

June 14, 2023 - Full flavour, rich and layered. Very fine mousse. Bone dry. Lemonade, dried apple, ripe orchard fruits, tonnes of chalky minerals, grilled nuts, honey, immersive leesy characters, toast, brioche, creamy. Bit of dusty from bottle age. All supported by the sharp acidic backbone. Excellent and expressive.

Sourced from old vines in grands cru vineyards of Ambonnay 96 months. Disgorged July 2013.

March 1, 2023 - Just started to enter its early peak. So round, full of energetic with tertiary touch.

March 26, 2021 - Explosive nose with butter, brioche, oak, toasted hazelnut, brown apple, baked apple and candied ginger.
Palate followed with brown apple, grapefruit, candied lemon, butter, brioche, oak, minerals and slightly nutty. Super oxidized style making the champagne carry so much weight in the mouth. Extremely intense and complex with a fresh citrus acidity and an incredible balance. Aftertaste just sticks with you like a syrup on the tongue.

    May 31, 2020 - not blind
a weak bottle, bought 6 years ago from the winery. Maybe a hidden cork, no fruit, no fun. After 2 hours a little bit more opened. 90? For me his best wine is his GC VV BdN

January 30, 2020 - 2004 champagne horizontal (110 Taillevent London): Bit shut down and clipped finish. Made us think the bottle wasn't perfect. Weakest wine in the flight.
