November 22, 2017 - Very nice for hot afternoon. Crisp and clean. No overpowering sweet fruit. Good balance. Great with Brie.

October 8, 2017 - Great afternoon wine — to pair with cheese and good company. Love the multi dimensionality of this wine: a little sweet, a little tangy, a little bright, a little mellow. More complex than most competitors at this price point and easy to please wine and beer lovers.

September 24, 2017 - Very unusual. Racy, deep and special. Pineapple and sea breeze on the nose. A host of sensations on the palate - lemon zest, pineapple, a hint of apricot. As others have noted, not for everyday drinking but when you do drink it, it commands your attention.

March 31, 2017 - An excellent white wine. Not sweet but with a lot of complex fruit flavors (peach, tart apple, mellon) very good acidity gives it a crispness. I wil be ordering more at the next release.

January 22, 2017 - Impromptu tasting session with Joeroen, Isobel, Valerie and Frits (Chez Walker - Princeton, NJ): Prior notes: "Medium, slightly cloudy yellow/gold. Crisp and dry wine. Fruity (not sweet) and aromatic. Notes on palate were apples, lemon, orange blossom and white flowers."

One of the favorites for this group of friends, last bottle of the 2014... interesting, fun and well made wine from Big Table

January 8, 2017 - Popped and poured. Really interesting wine that is unique. Peach, citrus, wax and white pepper. Tastes a bitle more ecisity hot even though it is only 13.4%. Would like a little more acidity but that is nitpicking. Improved as it warmed. Enjoy this for what it is. A unique wine that has complexity. Defnitely not something one would drink often but when you do it is a lot of fun. Well done.

October 15, 2016 - A Decadent Wine Day...Zachy's Vault II and Dinner with special guest CVA and friends (Le Bernardin, New York and Chez Walker in Princeton, NJ): In our cellar with CVA, Subha and Jim and Valerie. First white of the evening. CVA wanted to be surprised with first one, a fun variation for European palates. Served chilled, open for about 30 minutes

Prior notes: "Medium, slightly cloudy yellow/gold. Crisp and dry wine. Fruity (not sweet) and aromatic. Notes on palate were apples, lemon, orange blossom and white flowers."

Crowd liked this, great wine to start the evening. Followed up with a Peter Michael Ma Belle Fille...big hit, great aperitif. Wine improves as it warms a bit, "peach blossom" cam through

July 18, 2016 - Spectacular! Very clear and pale. Rich but elusive nose of flowers and melon and peaches. Slightly neutral flavor profile of melon and white/yellow fruit with spice and a subtle sense of petrol. Big mouth feel. Very appealing wine.

May 27, 2016 - In OC with Valerie, Isobel and Jeroen. Thought they would like to try this as tastes for this group tend towards European whites. Slightly chilled, PnP, drank over 30 minutes...

From prior notes: "Medium, slightly cloudy yellow/gold. Crisp and dry wine. Fruity (not sweet) and aromatic. Notes on palate were apples, lemon, orange blossom and white flowers."

What really showed here - and the group noticed right away - was the "peach blossom" flavors. Tucked in the orchard fruits was a pronounced peach flavor (matching the label design of peach blossoms...). Really aromatic and elegant, WOTN by far for this group...

Fruit profile probably not for everyone - not for the hard core Chardonnay drinkers,,,Anyone that likes German/Alsatian wines will be a fan. Excellent wine, drink well now and seems like it should hold and perhaps improve with time.

May 23, 2016 - A terrific effort by this husband and wife team, what a surprise. Available in NYC at the release price, this is the most interesting white I've tasted in this price range (~$28) by far this year. A very pleasant bright yellow out of the bottle already announces it's more interesting than almost any other field blend. I'd mistake the intensity of flavors for a very fine Austrian gruner, but apparently this is blend of gewurtztraminer, riesling and pinot gris. The nose has some soft summer flavours including peaches, fresh cut grass and a slight candied lemon. Just a great find. And by the way, the couple (Brian and Clare) are very nice, this is such a great vineyard and story. Well done on this one.
