June 25, 2011 - This is well past the date most would say it should be opened, but you know what? It's still very good. There's structure here, and a pleasant round and full body. Chardonnay and Viognier (which are blended 50/50 in this) should be combined more often. The former provides food friendly gravitas and the latter gives a floral character that sets it apart.

February 13, 2009 - This is holding up quite well. Medium bodied, with good fruit. Not much in the way of oak presence. Niether blend really dominates. Smooth, with a good finish.

September 29, 2008 - Consistent with prior notes. An outstanding QPR.

April 18, 2008 - been a while since I've had a bottle. notes are from the 5th night of this being open (vacuum sealed in the frig) - still clean - just as nice - possibly nicer than first night. clean - some wild flowers and pollen. looking back at price - I'm pretty astonished at the QPR on this.

(QUPE BIEN NACIDO CUVEE) #1; COLOR-light golden; NOSE-great Viognier nose, tremendously intriguing, charred Oak, mango, pineapple, green English peas, thick white grape candy syrup aspect; TASTE-Wow, this wine is Rocking, tremendous balance of acidity, muted New World Oak, huge honeysuckle, boysenberry, kiwi & lime; tremendous segue from acidity to the long, rich & palate-coating finish; reminds me of a New World version of a $60-70 white Rhone blend ; RP-90; GV-92+
