    September 12, 2021 - Decanted 10 minutes

Pristine cork, very little sign of aging in colour

Smooth tannins, spice and acidity holding well. Well named syrah as opposed to shiraz

January 20, 2021 - Cork in good shape, came out easily. Some old vine aromas at first and some EA but underneath that portlike aromas, some tar and brandy. There's still some fruit sweetness right up front on the palate, but it's hollow in the midpalate and acidic on the finish. Should have been drunk 5-10 years ago.

    December 26, 2020 - Decanted 90 minutes, served low 60's F

Remarkably little seepage into cork, bright garnet, a little sediment

Eucalyptus and spice, a lot of spice. Long easy tannins, still lively

May 24, 2020 - Dark brooding purple to black color. Lots of sediment. Decanted. Purple florals, smoked meats, mulberry, violets, and a plush palate. Full bodied. Balanced alcohol. Nice finish. Wish I had more. Nice enjoyable bottle with some smoked Texas brisket.
