January 10, 2015 - BYO decanted in restaurant. Sweet fruit forward moderate complexity, flavors of black cherry, leather, rose. Medium bodied, perfectly integrated tannic finish. Good acidity longish 10+ sec finish. Definitely in prime drinking window with many years of prime years remaining. Good match paired with Duck confit.

May 2, 2012 - Very full bodied red. Bold
January 16, 2011 - First hour, very deep, brooding bordeaux-like nose and taste - bordering on brett (not sure - going to let it decant for another few hours). First rating 85. We'll rate again.
December 13, 2010 - Nice but not special ---
February 20, 2010 - touch of acetone on the nose but otherwise a big explosive punch on the palate and very Tuscan. 50% Merlot? Impressive.
February 7, 2010 - Opened, poured a small amount, decanted the rest for 1 1/2 hr. Excellent! Dark rich fruit from the ultra ripe 2003 vintage. Opaque with a reddish rim. Plump Merlot in the nose, front and middle. Dustsy Sangiovese, cleans the mid ad delivers the strength on the finish. Dark berry, leather with a subtle anise quality. I think it will go for many years, but the vintage is just begging to be drank.
October 16, 2009 - Awesome
November 24, 2007 - Starts a little tart but opens up quite well. Classic Italian composition. A little more depth and it would be a classic.
July 24, 2007 - Some fruit.
