June 14, 2012 - This is a well built cab at a very good price, especially for one from Napa. Plus, the label is very cool. And now you may find it at Costco.
June 20, 2009 - Decent bottle of Cab, especially for the price. Nice nose and improved once it opened up.
July 17, 2007 - Decanted for half an hour. Based upon previous user notes, this wine has changed considerably over the past few years in the cellar. Crimson rim around a purple core. Cigar box, blackberries on the nose follow through on the palate. Medium to full bodied. Still quite a lot of acidity and tannic structure, could have gone a bit longer even. If not so simple, would have scored higher. Perhaps just a bit heavy on the oak.
July 3, 2006 - Starting to fade, a little raiseny. Has been well stored so I would drink up soon.
December 23, 2005 - Fruity cabernet, soft tannins, delicious.
September 12, 2005 - Excellent wine for the money. Very enjoyable.
June 3, 2005 - More of the same. See last note. For about the same amount I 'd go for Ch.St. Jean or Mondavi.
February 25, 2005 - For the $16 tab I won't complain about this Cab. However, it is rather simple. A lot of upfront sweet fruit that is MPShiraz-like. Nice, supple mouthfeel and mild tannins.
Good for crowds. Could go a couple years.
February 1, 2005 - Incredible nose of cassis and blackberry. Well integrated and smooth wine. Will be buying more.
