December 9, 2023 - Definitely ready to drink. Tertiary aromas and flavors abound, with baked boysenberry and blackberry compote, forest floor and mushrooms. Medium body, and the remaining tannins are smooth and very well integrated.

May 23, 2021 - From memory this was still holding up but could not guarantee others will considering the year. It is a very pleasant drink and a decent performer for a problem vintage.

September 23, 2019 - Winefield's pre-sale tasting 9/22: lovely spices in the nose, juicy taste, maybe a whiff green, well balanced into the aftertaste; as good as '97 can be.

September 16, 2016 - Fairly tasty cedar aromas but the vintage comes through.
