June 26, 2022 - PnP. Translucent red color. Bright cherries and strawberries along with green elements on the nose. Earthy, high OH, with some bite on the end. More Burgundy than Cab Franc. Short finish. If guessing blind, Cab Franc would be furthest from my mind.

June 23, 2022 - This is drinking very well right now. We chilled it a bit for dinner on a summer evening. It is bright but earthy—the age has given it a very interesting and complex flavor profile. I think it’ll be good for a few more years.

April 14, 2021 - 12.2% abv. Medium-light ruby, very aromatic. On the palate, red cherry, tobacco, violets, leather, spearmint and white pepper. Very good depth and length. Very distinctive, complex and very enjoyable. Appears to have a lot of life remaining.

November 17, 2017 - Black cherry, blueberry and pepper notes. Low alcohol and fresh, but maintains plenty of flavor.

February 27, 2016 - Matthiasson with Steve and Jill (Flatiron, SF): Cab franc. No oak. Ripe bell peppers. Bright fruit- floral. Great grip. Had whole cluster. Savory, aromatic, integrated, and structured.
