May 20, 2021 - A very nice mouth feel and structure but not much fruit left. I would say drink it now if you have it.

NOSE: expressive; dark red fruits; hints of shoe polish and sweet black licorice; has that high-toned aged C.S. thing going on.
BODY: medium to medium-full bodied; dark red color with slight bricking throughout.
TASTE: sweet oak; a touch tannic; fruit likely falling away now, leaving the oak behind; "dark" (black licorice) when paired with steak -- the pairing was, to me surprise, poor. One of the longest-tenured wines in our cellar: I think this is already on its downslope. Drink Now.

January 1, 2017 - Tasted on day two. Very well integrated and softened. Solid dark berries on both the palate and the nose. A little bit of dirtiness ok the palate too. Moderate tannins (5.5/10) and moderate plus to full bodied. Lingering finish. Drink till 2018.
