March 13, 2024 - It hasn’t budged much from a few years ago. Tight and citric. Firm. Medium intensity. Promising, though. Rated conservatively for now.

nailed it after having CC 2014. A bit less concentration. Great nose and a perfect saline vs lemon balance. Right dose of reduction. Great wine far away from his peak. 97

September 29, 2023 - Most opulent and complete wine in a flight of 11/12/14. All of them way too young so who really knows which will ultimately be best.

September 27, 2023 - A private tasting and dinner (Restaurant Fitzgerald *, Rotterdam, NL): Quite rich for a 2014 Perrières, full-bodied, harmonious, quite open in style, not nearly as tight and minerally as I had expected, gentle oak, pure and precise, silky and perfectly harmonious, more mealy than reductive, excellent length, develops quickly in the glass. Excellent Meursault, but without the Coche magic.

July 5, 2023 - Ultra tight now, but the gunflint, precision and linearity are impressive.

January 16, 2023 - Just lights out . a spectacular bottle. The intensity and tension is out of this world. Tropical notes not as present as in prior bottles. more classic notes. Had it next to the 14 meursault from coche which highlights how amazing the 14 coche are but also how incredible the perrieres and CC are. We had a side by side of the 14 and 15 CC the next day which was even at another level. 97/98
slightly over shadowed by a spectacular bottle of 2001 DRc Montrachet which was lights out.

March 7, 2022 - This was crazy good. So much tension, acidity and ripe fruit. Just an incredible example of white burgundy.

August 25, 2021 - Surprisingly accessible, and stylistically different to me than what I think of with prior generation Coche. it is missing the reduction, popcorn aromas, and lift that are signatures of the JF era. in fact it’s slightly tropical (Fatboi is on the mark) with orchard fruit and hints of pineapple. Quite Concentrated and maintaining balance with some underlying salinity and minerals.

July 4, 2021 - Incredible wine. Just a step behind the '14 CC from last month. '14 Coche are just exceptional.

June 21, 2021 - Had a compromised bottle on 6/18 but this bottle righted all concerns I had. A laser like wine that has depth and concentration. With air the reductive nature fades a bit and flavors of slight tropical fruits appear. This is in a great place but as I've said before hasn't hit its 2nd gear yet. 95/96
