July 9, 2008 - An extra year in the bottle from my first one did tame some of the vanilla/oak but left this wine rather one-dimensional. A magenta-purple color and a nice nose with some swirling of rasberries and licorice. The flavors on the palate faded quickly. Not a good value for almost $50 a bottle.

April 13, 2007 - Deep purple color, nice legs in the glass. Popped the cork and then let the bottle sit for an hour or so. Good nose of fruit but a tad too much vanilla for my taste. A very good Cali-cab but not sure it was worth the price.
