November 25, 2023 - Opened a magnum for thanksgiving football! Spectacular form! Perfect timing! Decanted off the significant sediment. Cherry bomb but after a few hours, plenty of herbal and leather notes. The time is now!

May 14, 2023 - Others really enjoyed, but for me not really my style. Looking for something with some more tanning structure here to hold up better with the filets and this was more on the plush and over extracted spectrum.

April 21, 2023 - Brought this to a birthday dinner at a restaurant, popped and poured tonight. Nice subtle brambly fruity nose. Still dark in the glass with no evidence of bricking. Is there such a thing as a reserved flavor profile for a Isosceles? More secondary flavors on this. Still some fruit but savory notes were noted throughout. Nice mouth feel with refined tannins that did not obstructing. Pared well with the bar style food. I guess there’s a reason why people drink these younger for the big fruit but still enjoyable tonight.

December 19, 2022 - this was a gift from a friend for doing a favor. As good as this wine is, and it was lovely, I just won't buy Justin wines because of their (owners, the Renicks) total disregard for our envionment.

November 26, 2022 - Drank one a month ago, did nothing for me. Flat, lacking

Let it decant for over an hour tonight, ate it with a crusted prime rib, I really enjoyed it tonight.
Heavy sediment, integrated tannins, cherries/spice are starting to fade but integrated. I think it is great with a salty piece of red meat. Drink now

October 28, 2022 - I didn’t notice quite as much vanilla as last time—and this improved markedly after about two hours open. But there’s just so much goddanged alcohol!

I have a bunch more of these for some reason and will definitely open a couple with holiday prime rib for family who likes wine but is fine with fruitier, over the top wine.
