December 25, 2023 - A rather sensational showing here with plenty of lifted sweet fruit (much more so than previous bottle which was more "sauvage"). A real dancer and just showcases the magic of CLB well to produce a village 14 like this. Good now for my palate before it looses the winemaker signature.
July 11, 2022 - This is visually clearly the palest rendition of any wine chez CLB and here too almost transculent brown red tones. Hauntingly smokey nose upon pop and pour, wild forst strawberries, touch of rose hip. A very mineral expression in the mouth, with lovely acidity, quite sauvage and hauntingly long finish, crazy to think this is a 14 village level. A total heart wine, somehow makes me think this is how autumn would taste like if it could be bottled - well maybe it has.
March 12, 2022 - La Paulée de New York Gala Dinner (Pier Sixty, Chelsea Piers - New York NY): Late night, small glass, brief note. Great Vosne nose, similar palate just less intense. Good weight.
September 6, 2021 - 淡宝石红色，闻香是肉味，梗香，红果，石灰，甜美橡木桶和明显的芝麻香，入口酸度高，单宁紧致，颗粒细腻，收尾微甜，草莓硬糖的香气和梗香，口感很干净，酒体有些单薄，余味是红果味。一支香气大于口感的酒，入口复杂度稍逊一筹。
July 29, 2021 - Dinner at Noz (Sushi Noz NYC): Drank against the CLB Chaumes.
A different level for me, capable of striking just the right note, while, for me, the Chaumes came off a little more off pitch. Obviously early for this wine, but very very enjoyable. Didn't last long as we all drank this up so quickly.
October 2, 2020 - Oh man..Rose petal, raspberry, cranberry, mixed with earth, forest floor, and a hint of stemminess. The tannin is present, but that texture is incredible in the mouthfeel. Balanced with juicy acidity. Long complex finish.
September 14, 2020 - Quite a bit of reduction. Dark fruit and subtle spice underneath. Not nearly as open as the NSG.

Litt spinkel med hint av urter.
Frukten er ganske bra, men i forhold til 15-16-17 er den noe svak.
Slank vin.
Lett på tå i utgangen med superfine tanniner.

August 6, 2020 - Was blinded this wine. The best kind of young oak, elegant, intense inner mouth perfume. Very juicy with concentration that hedonistically saturates your palate in all its young burgundy glory. This is something you can gulp an entire bottle of, very pleasurable. Guess this a 1er cru 12/14, but definitely tasting like a CLB. It's a bit unfair that I know what this guy has in his disposal, so I rightly guessed it the CLB 14 clos du chateau :p This one is drinking gloriously right now and I'd happily pay USD700 for it.
